The Quebec Anesthesiologists Association (AAQ) is a membership organization established under the Professional Associations Act. Its mission is to defend and promote the economic, professional, scientific, moral, and social interests of certified anesthesiologists in Quebec.
The primary objective of anesthesia is to eliminate pain (analgesia) during surgical, obstetric, or medical procedures and to alleviate pain after surgery. It also ensures patient safety by reducing the body's defensive reactions to pain.
We now know the lucky recipients of the Rosario-Denis Scholarships and the Young Researchers Grants.
